Troubled Waters: Drought & Change art exhibit moves to City Hall!

The Sun Gallery has been asked to move the Drought themed art exhibit to City Hall! My vegetable image prints will be part of this show along with a lot of other amazing art. This is a very interesting show. If you missed it when it was on display at the Sun Gallery, you now have a second chance to view some of it at the John O'Lague Galleria in Hayward City Hall.

There will be a reception hosted by the Hayward Arts Council this coming Friday, August 7th at 5:30 pm at the City Hall Rotunda. I will be attending and hope to see some of you there.

Here's a sneak peek at my veggie paintings. The first three were painted from veggies I purchased at local food markets. The shallots are based on an image in an illuminated manuscript from the Middle Ages. All four original paintings have been sold, but I have prints available for purchase that look very close to the originals. All prints are made with archival inks and acid-free paper and are available in a variety of sizes. You can write to me at tinabanda@earthlink.net if you interested in purchasing a print.
