The
Sun Gallery has been asked to move the Drought themed art exhibit to
City Hall! My vegetable image prints will be part of this show along with a lot of other amazing art. This is a very interesting show. If you missed it when it was on display at the Sun Gallery, you now have a second chance to view some of it at the John O'Lague Galleria in Hayward City Hall.
There will be a reception hosted by the Hayward Arts Council this coming Friday, August 7th at 5:30 pm at the City Hall Rotunda. I will be attending and hope to see some of you there.
Here's a sneak peek at my veggie paintings. The first three were painted from veggies I purchased at local food markets. The shallots are based on an image in an illuminated manuscript from the Middle Ages. All four original paintings have been sold, but I have prints available for purchase that look very close to the originals. All prints are made with archival inks and acid-free paper and are available in a variety of sizes. You can write to me at tinabanda@earthlink.net if you interested in purchasing a print.
